Producer & Production Manager
Darta, a producer based between Riga, Latvia and London, UK, is establishing herself in the feature film industry, with her works featured at various BAFTA-recognised and Oscar® qualifying festivals.
Currently, Darta is involved in the production of feature films such as 'Latvian Myth' (production), 'Cursed Portrait' (development with New State Pictures, UK), ‘A Necessary Kindness’ (development with US) and 'Muddy Shoes' (development with EPHOR, UK), alongside documentary series.
Darta also produces for notable artists like Benjamin Clementine and high-end commercials for renowned brands including Samsung, McLaren, Unilever, and Pimms. She has developed several screenplays raising hundreds of thousands of pounds. Her sights are set on expanding into the documentary realm and becoming one of the most active producers in the Baltics.
